Découvertes archéologiques en Égypte La tombe du « gardien des sceaux divins ». Cette tombe a été découverte à Abouzir près de Guizeh, dans la banlieue sud du Caire. Cette tombe gravée et inscrite du Nouvel Empire appartient, selon le conseil supérieur des Antiquités égyptiennes à un « Fils d'Amon », serviteur du dieu Ptah. Cette vaste tombe formait un complexe funéraire composé d'une cour et de deux bâtiments. Des dix statues dressées dans la cour, deux ont été retrouvées.

The archaeological mission of the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University, Damanhour Branch, unearthed an ancient temple that dates back to the era of the Old Kingdom (4500 BC). Four pottery and copper as well as alabaster vessels to keep ornamental substances and cosmetics were discovered. Hassan Al-Sheriff, the mission's chief, said a cemetery was also unearthed, noting it is believed to contain some holy animals.

Découvertes archéologiques en Égypte Une base de pyramide de « Nub-Khabr-Ra » : The joint Egyptian-German archeological mission under Daniel Boltz, Director of the German Institute of Archaeology, unearthed the base of the first pyramid ever discovered at the Western Bank in Luxor.
The find is considered the-most important remains discovered so far due to the importance of its builder, King Nub-Khbar-Ra, one of the latest kings of the 17th Dynasty (1650-1550 BC) and the first one who led the liberation war against the Hyksos in Egypt.
Minister of Culture Farouk Hosni said in a press conference Thursday that King Nub is the grandfather of King Saknen-Ra, who was killed in the battles against the Hyksos, and the great grandfather of Ahmose, the liberation hero who flushed the Hyksos out of Egypt.
Gaballah Ali Gaballah, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA), said this is the first time a pyramid is discovered in Luxor, or for the 17th Dynasty.
The era of the pyramids is known to begin from the 3rd Dynasty until the 6th Dynasty and was confined to Menf, capital of the old Kingdom, he said.
